Despite his premature exit from the ATP Toronto 1000, Andrey can console himself with his new best ATP ranking. The latest world list, in fact, shows the Kazakh from Bra occupying 36th place. This giant leap was largely due to his third round showing in Washington, where the so-called "Baby Face" struggled for three sets with Thomas Berdych (who eventually emerged with a score of 6-3, 5-7, 7-5).
